South Tirolean buckwheat cake (from Philipp)



Ingredients


200 g butter
100 g sugar
6 egg yolks
6 egg whites
200 g buckwheat
200 g hazelnuts grinned
2 apples grinned
1 package baking powder
bit of lemon peel
100 g sugar
cranberries jam

Instructions:
Take the soft butter and stir it with 100 g sugar. Put the egg yolks one by one slowly in it while you are stirring, then buckwheat, hazel nuts, apples, baking powder, lemon peel. Then stir the egg white. When it's nearly done put the other 100 g sugar inside and slowly put them together. Put it into an oven for 40 - 45 mins at 180 °. When finished wait until it's cold. Half it and put cranberries jam or cranberries jam cream between the sides.
